Emergency Generator:
On October 5, 2010 there was a power outage on our block and the emergency generator failed to operate properly and the building had no emergency lighting for a period of time.
We are planning to test the system under a simulated power failure to ensure that the system operates as designed. The generator service contractor and the elevator contractor will be conducting the test on Friday morning October 22, 2010 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and noon.
We advise residents to disconnect or turn off your electronic equipment so you will not loose your unsaved data.
The Manager and superintendent will be supervising the work.
