Annual Fire Safety Inspection


Please be advised that Eclipse Enterprises Fire Protection and the property manager will be conducting the Annual Fire Safety Unit Inspections on Tuesday February 6th, 2018.

The testing of heat sensors and the replacement of smoke detectors (where required) in each unit will commence at 9:30 a.m. and continue throughout the day until 5:00 p.m. Please also note that during this time, alarms in the building will be tested and ringing intermittently throughout the building.

Access will be required into ALL units to test and or replace smoke detectors/heat sensors during the scheduled time:

Between 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

If you cannot be home during this day we ask that you please provide a key to a trusted neighbour or the property manager for access if your unit lock has been changed and is no longer mastered to the buildings’ emergency access key.

The property manager will be on site during these inspections and will access units starting on the 2nd floor which have been mastered to the emergency building key.

The fire inspection technicians will be escorted into each unit by the property manager.

Access is mandatory into each unit to perform testing in order to comply with Ontario Fire Code.
